- Press outlets/organizations who have not previously attended LEDucation must be able to provide other relevant coverage examples.
- A reporter or press outlet that was approved in a prior year is not guaranteed approval for the current year.
- Only professional members of the press qualify for complimentary registration. That determination will be made solely by LEDucation and at its discretion. LEDucation reserves the right to offer or restrict Press Passes on a case-by-case basis. Press Passes are available to editorial staff writers employed by a trade publication, mainstream media outlet (newspaper, radio, TV, etc.), or online magazines.
- Freelance writers, podcasters, photographers, videographers, contributing editors, or bloggers may request press passes if covering for a specific publication.

LEDucation Conference Empowers Industry with Key Lighting Insights
NEW YORK CITY, March 18, 2026 – LEDucation 2026 Conference attendees stand to gain valuable insight in navigating the latest advancements in lighting. Cutting-edge design and research, sustainability initiatives, emerging technologies, codes, and more. This year’s conference will feature 39 educational sessions presented by recognized experts and thought leaders in their fields. Interactive virtual programming on April 9–10 will be followed by rich in-person sessions April 14–15. LEDucation offers a total of 42.5 continuing education credits.
Attendee Registration Opens for LEDucation 2026
NEW YORK CITY, December 1, 2025 — Attendee registration is now open for LEDucation 2026, taking place April 14–15 at the New York Hilton Midtown. The 2026 event marks the 20th anniversary of LEDucation, recognized as one of the most influential and widely attended gatherings in the North American lighting industry. This year’s program will feature more than 400 exhibitors across four exhibit halls and 40 accredited presentations – virtually and in-person–covering the latest advancements in lighting design, research, sustainability, technology, and more.
