LEDucation 2027 Opens with Dedicated Designer Access

Building on the success of the 2026 Designer Hours, LEDucation 2027 will dedicate the first day of the Trade Show exclusively to qualified design professionals. On Tuesday, April 13, the Exhibit Halls will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. exclusively for lighting designers, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, press, and students. Eligible attendees will receive color-coded badges identifying them for Designer-only access.

Behind the LEDucation 2027 Three Day Expansion

Randy Reid from the Edison Report interviewed LEDucation Co-chair Jamie Eck and DLFNY President Jennifer Mason to discuss what attendees and exhibitors can expect from LEDucation 2027.

During the conversation, they discussed the introduction of Tuesday’s exclusive Designer Day. Jamie highlighted the unique value of bringing the design community together in one place.

“The New York designers really are the elite of our industry,” he shared. “You could spend a month and a half trying to get into all the top design offices and still not reach everyone. If you can get them together in one place at one time and start a conversation, it’s invaluable.”
