Scott Ziegenfus is Vice President of Customer Experience, Software and Controls for Current Lighting. Scott has spent 30 years in the lighting industry, mostly with controls, working for Current Lighting, Hubbell Lighting Inc., and Lutron Electronics Inc., Scott also spent the last 15 years on ASHRAE’s SSPC135 BACnet Committee writing the BACnet Standard and only person from the lighting industry to hold an officer position presently serving as Vice Chairman. He is also a past chair of BACnet International’s Education committee and a past recent recipient of BACnet International’s “Leader of the Pack” award. He has written multiple articles about BMS Integration and BACnet for publications like Consulting Specifying Engineer, Electroindustry, BACnet Foundations, BACnet Journal, and ASHRAE Journal.
