Introductory
In this presentation, designer Christien Methot takes us on a concept-to-completion case study of an iconic recent project: The bold architectural lighting on the new facade of the Gershwin Theater.

Speaker
Christien is a lighting designer specializing in architecture and entertainment. Since 1996, his firm Design One Lighting Design has partnered with a wide array of clients such as RXR, MdeAS Architects, the US Open, Oscar de la Renta, Duggal Visual Solutions, Sage Realty Group, and so many more. Most recently, he lit the new facade of the Gershwin Theater, the NAPA Auto Expo in Las Vegas, and art galleries at Columbia University Teachers College. He enjoys collaborating with artistic and technical teams to make memorable installations. Lighting is magic and is his muse.
