Gabi Korac, LC, IES, is a Senior Lighting Designer and the Arkansas Studio Director at Essential Light Design Studio. A graduate of Parsons School of Design with a Master of Architecture and a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design, Gabi loves translating conceptual ideas into real-world projects. Deeply engaged in advancing the profession, Gabi serves on the IES Color Committee—where she focuses on integrating advances in color rendition into lighting practice—and is an advisory member of the Arkansas National Sky Association. Gabi is a frequent industry speaker, presenting at LightFair, ArchLight Summit, and multiple IES sections, and occasionally teaches lighting design at the Fay Jones School of Architecture.
