Maurice Loosschilder is the Global Head of Sustainability at Signify. He is responsible for the creation and execution of Signify’s ‘Brighter Lives, Better World’ sustainability program, with ambitious commitments to improve Signify’s positive impact on the environment and society.
Maurice has more than 23 years of experience in the lighting industry with Philips and now Signify. Prior to his current role, he held the positions of Head of Sustainability Strategy and Reporting and Director, Collection and Recycling. Maurice has served on the Supervisory Boards of four e-waste collection and recycling organizations across Europe. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Maurice serves on the board of the United Nations Global Compact Network Netherlands.
Maurice graduated Cum Laude from the Technical University of Eindhoven and holds a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering. He completed the Executive Leadership and Transformation Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education and the Board Certificate training for supervisory board members at Board Company.
