Laurie is President of Gross Electric, a 115-year-old lighting showroom and electrical distributor with locations in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Laurie is an American Lighting Association (ALA) Certified Lighting Designer with over 50 years experience in commercial and residential lighting design. She works with builders, designers, electrical contractors and homeowners on lighting projects. Her time on the ALA board of directors and as interim President of the Association has given her a unique perspective on the industry, including the challenges facing showrooms, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives.
