Carson Alsop, WELL Faculty, is originally from rural South Texas and has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Starting in Lutron’s Sales Leadership Development Program in 2016, Carson worked in Lutron’s South-Central sales organization before moving to New York to join the commercial A&D specification team in 2021. Today, Carson manages Lutron’s two New York City Experience Centers with a focus on business development for Lutron’s Global Experience Center Program. Throughout her tenure at Lutron, Carson has held a passion for fostering collaboration and creativity within the realm of design and technology, especially in promoting lighting’s role in occupant well-being and environmental sustainability.
Additionally, Carson actively participates in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York chapter, where she engages with fellow industry leaders and contribute to meaningful discussions about architectural design and innovation. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, hairstyling, and spending time with her dog, Doc Holliday.
