This seminar describes the emerging trend of lighting and health, taking note of new developments in lighting used for disinfection. Categorizing these measures as 1) occupant satisfaction and wellbeing, 2) circadian lighting, and 3) COVID mitigation and disinfection lighting, the seminar identifies all the ways lighting controls can support these strategies to ensure the most effective result.

Gary Meshberg
Director of Industry and Market Engagement, OSRAM

Gary Meshberg, LEED AP, LC, IESNA is vice chair of the Lighting Controls Association (lightingcontrolsassociation.org) and director of industry and market engagement for OSRAM. A 31-year industry veteran, he previously served as director of marketing, VP of sales and specification business manager for major lighting manufacturers. He chairs the IES Lighting Commissioning Committee, previously served as past education chair for the Dallas Section, and founded and served as chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance.
