Integrative Design is a process to engage those who own, manage, design, build and occupy a space as co-creators, to discover synergies and produce building and human performance, environmental benefits and other efficiencies.
Chad Groshart will share Integrative Design best practices and lessons learned from two recent projects targeting WELL Platinum certification: Delos Headquarters, New York City and WorkBar, Boston.
He will be joined by Meg Smith, who will offer examples of innovative, spectrally engineered LED platforms that provide design flexibility, to cost-effectively satisfy co-created project requirements and deliver evidence-based and quantified health and well-being benefits.

Learning Objectives
1. Understand the importance of daylight and façade design and its impact on environmental and human health
2. Learn how to apply daylighting to the design scheme to contribute to WELL Building Standards
3. Be able to apply innovations in spectral tuning to increase lighting design flexibility and value to the project
4. Be able to present convincing evidence of biophilic lighting effects, and describe and quantify their impacts and contribution to occupant well-being and organizational goals
