We’ve seen a tremendous technology shift taking place across the lighting industry. First, we had to identify the real value behind wireless controls. Then, we had to learn what it takes to deliver that value. Finally, we had to find out how to overcome multiple technical barriers.
We know the benefits are real and achievable. It's the potential to increase lighting efficiency and thus reduce energy consumption in commercial spaces the world over. This can be achieved through global democratization of lighting controls. Democratization that leads to reduction of technical and economic requirements for implementing sensor-driven control strategies.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will learn how technology enables low-effort implementation of advanced control strategies.
- Participants will get an introductory understanding of the Bluetooth mesh technology.
- Participants will learn how they can integrate Bluetooth mesh technology with lighting products and how they can deploy it in buildings.
- Participants will learn how Bluetooth mesh supports advanced control strategies, shortening the path to energy savings and energy code compliance.
